Abstract


Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture and organizational commitment on the performance of Universitas ‘Aisyiyah employees with motivation as an intervening variable. This research is quantitative research using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The sample of this study was 73 employees of the University ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta using a saturated sampling technique. But the returned and feasible questionnaire was a sample of 61 employees. Data analysis using Multiple Linear Regression and Path Analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence of organizational culture on employee work motivation with a significance value of 0.037; there is a positive effect of organizational commitment on employee motivation with a significance value of 0.000; there is a positive effect of organizational culture and organizational commitment on employee motivation with a significance value of 0.000; there is no influence from organizational culture on employee performance with a significance value of 0.432; there is a positive effect of organizational commitment on employee performance with a significance value of 0.039; there is a positive influence of organizational culture, organizational commitment and motivation on employee performance with a significance value of 0.014; there is a positive effect of work motivation on employee performance with a significance value of 0.000; there is a mediating role of motivation between organizational commitment and employee performance and there is a mediating role of motivation between organizational culture and employee performance.
