Abstract

National and regional development to improve the economy and people's welfare must be carried out with a sustainable concept based on natural resources and  environmental perspective. To find out the results of the regional development process, the regional competitiveness index (IDSD) has been measured which includes four aspects, namely the enabling environment, human capital, market and innovation ecosystem.

IDSD measurement results are composite values of aspects, pillars and dimensions of IDSD that reflect productivity and regional development for 1 year, the higher index means the higher the level of community welfare. The IDSD of Central Java Province has been measured for 3 years from 2018 to 2020, using a measurement system developed by the Ministry of Research and Technology / National Research and Innovation Agency, with results of 4.21 in 2018, 4.06 in in 2019, and 4.52 in 2020 respectively.
