Abstract
The problems in Funeral Governance found were limited burial grounds, difficulties in land acquisition, either for expanding burial land or finding new land in urban areas. In burying their deceased family, it creates problems, it has even been found in big cities by stacking one burrow with family members who have been buried previously. On the other hand, there are many private groups who make use of funerals in commercial ways that are not accessible to the lower class. The purpose of this study is to explore various burial problems, evaluate and analyze funeral problems in the perspective of regional economic policy. The location is carried out in Jakarta with a quantitative description to describe the predicted amount of demand which is analyzed using ARIMA and qualitatively based on the interview process in the private and public sectors. The results show that there is a need for policies to readjust to existing regulations and the potential for structuring local revenue for private sector funerals.
